I spoke to You the other day
but assumed You did not hear,
for neither did You ease my pain
nor chase away my fear.
I shouted out Your name in hopes
my voice You’d recognize.
Still You did not answer,
and I frowned in my surprise.
So I sat there, still and silent,
as with uncertainty I fought,
wondering how to reach You
to get the comfort that I sought.
Then, as I sat there quietly,
There was a whisper in the air.
The slightest sound and yet I heard,
And knew that You were there.
And so next time I seek you out,
I’m assured that You will hear.
For I know now that I need not shout,

Here is my hand for you to see,
a friendly wave to you from me.
A simple gesture meant to cheer,
to let you know a friend is near.
Here is my hand for you to take,
a soothing touch if you should ache.
A simple gesture to convey
a friend is here for you today.
Here is my hand for you to hold,
a welcome embrace when you are cold.
A simple gesture meant to warm,
to offer you shelter from the storm.
Here is my hand for you to keep,
a promise of friendship lasting and deep.
A simple gesture meant sincere.
whenever you need, it my hand is here.

Lip LockLip Lock

A whisper whisks across the lips,
The barest breath against the skin.
The hands shift down from face to hips,
A small step closer, leaning in.
The nostrils flare, inhale desire,
Get drunk with lust in little sips.
Resistance wavers, wearing thin
As tongue-tip teases, eases, slips…
pillage deep to taste within.
Stroking…stoking…fanning the fire.

Twas once a strong and handsome lad,
a strapping young man of eighteen,
who worked his land, for his dream was grand;
He wanted to marry Colleen.
Now she was a young and beauteous lass,
with eyes of the loveliest green.
A vision so fair, none could compare-
She was the fairest he’d e’er seen.
Her laughter was soft and melodious,
her smile a pearly white gleam.
Her red hair like fire filled him with desire
for the girl with the name of Colleen.
So with his heart in his hand he offered his love,
and so it began, it would seem.
Their courtship did blossom, for she was so lossom -
the answer to his grandest dream

CourtingCourting

An invitation sent on trembling lips,
in hopes it will be pleasantly received,
is followed up with offhand little quips,
ensuring the intended is deceived
of racing pulse and rapid beating heart.
To hide the fact that shaking hands are wrung
in nervousness, a conversation starts,
yet spoken with an impotence of tongue,
revealing pseudo-confidence and verve.
Appearing nonchalant, the sender feigns
indifference towards the traitor signs of nerves,
pretending pride and self-respect remain,
as interest from the once-intended wanes -
and all attempts to woo were but in vain.

Heaven AwaitsHeaven Awaits

Close your eyes and you can see
the world awaiting you and me.
A beautiful world, abounding in love.
Now open your eyes. It’s there, above
and beyond those clouds, past the sky.
That’s where we’ll go when we die.
Together our souls will travel the stars
explore that world out there so far.
We’ll follow the footsteps of all those dear
who’ve waited so long to hold us near.
Welcomed by friends and family, too,
that’s what’s waiting for me and you.

A thousand moons, or maybe more, have passed
above, whilst down below I wait for thee.
My love as strong as such to last-
not waning in its lonely misery.

For true to Cupid’s arrow’s mark am I,
as well to mine own heart, tis why I stay,
and stay I will beneath this sky,
awaiting your return to bless that day.

So ne’er will I remove me from this site
and risk the chance that your return I’ll miss.
I’ll stand this spot from day to night,
as loyal now as then when first we kissed.

And saying so beneath the moon above,
I’ll wait eternally for you, my love.

It's hard, finding the right images, especially if you're not quite sure what you're looking for.

And sometimes it's fate, and the perfect picture just pops up.

...but you know, you could always do a collaboration. If you have the words, find someone to do the graphics for you...
